This Bobby Fischer site was created sometime in 2004. 

Even though Bobby Fischer remains the most enigmatic and greatest chess player of the 20th century, sites that were setup that focused on his career were few and far between - so I thought I would give it a go.

This Fischer site was first hosted under my Worldnet account but when the service started running to slow I decided to move it under subfolder on my Wacklepedia site. 

Putting it under Wacklepedia wasn't a good idea.  Any site where one expects good traffic should always sit on it's own domain because if you ever want to sell the site - then it doesn't need to be a package deal.

Moving the site to it's own domain was a challenge because so many people were already linking to the old location.  But in the end, most of the other sites did redirect their links.  The new location now has over 2,000 inbound links.

There is a lot on this website including the Bobby Fischer Biography, all of Fischer's Chess Games which includes The Game of the Century, and a Bobby Fischer Video section.

Other chess websites I've setup are the Bobby Fischer Blog and a Free Chess website.

One additional note is that I setup a lot of Java applets on the chess websites.  ButJava applets prove to run too slow so this may still be changing in the future.
